 | About UsAJ Dance Studios is situated in Newtownabbey Northern Ireland. It was founded in October 2010, and has an ever growing amount of pupils. We are a cross community dance studio which caters for children and adults of all ages, races and religions. AJDS specialize mostly in Street dance. With other types of dance such as Commercial, Musical Theatre, Gymnastics, Jazz, Contemporary and Breakdance. We run singing and vocal technique classes and also birthday parties and private lessons. We are members of the United Dance Organisation (UDO) and we take regular courses and examinations to ensure the best possible training at AJDS. We perform all over the country and travel all over the UK and Ireland for competitions. We also have yearly in- house shows and presentations, workshops with dance industry celebs from shows such as Got To Dance, examinations in all our taught genres of dance, and we do as much fundraising for local charities as possible. Our aim at AJDS is to give young people of all ages and abilities the chance to perform in a fun and safe environment. Whether students are learning purely for enjoyment or planning to take it further, AJDS will provide excellent dance, singing and performance training. Our students are challenged with routines that will develop their sense of rhythm, co-ordination, balance, dynamics, flexibility and confidence.
